Lazy, my butt. I was up at 7:30, sent out the comic of the day, made coffee, started laundry and now am going to spend the rest of the day getting ready for tomorrow’s Monkey’s Uncle show, which, by the way, will be:

Today is Monkey Monday on Cartoon Network where they will be celebrating many things animated and simian. I found this amazingly serendipitous as tonight at Jazz@Jack’s there will be a celebratory event that will be animated and simian — Monkey’s Uncle!

However, before that seminal event can happen, there must be team building. The other Monkeys have the day off, so I took some vacation and we will be “terrorizing” Denver with our distinct style of comedy. We’re going shopping for new outfits, getting a bit o’ gnash and trying to beat each other in trivia at Dave & Buster’s before we eventually meet up with our special guest and put on a show at 7:30.

And the best part is that I get to sleep-in an extra two hours before the others come crashing through the door to whisk me away. This is going to be a really fun time since we haven’t had an outing since Dead Man’s Chest and I can’t think of a better way to spend President’s Day than with four people who have become a wonderful and glorious part of my life.
