Performing Cynically At Bleu Cow 5

Wednesday, March 1st, 2006

I will be performing my very first Blog Reading this Saturday (Mar 4th) at midnight at Michelle Miracle’s Bleu Cow 5.

The "Guidelines For The Cynical Dater" blog has received some attention within the comedy and blog communities and thought it would be fun to perform it as a monologue, so I’m testing it out Saturday night.

Bleu Cow is a variety-hour type show with talent from all over coming to do a little something funny and perhaps a bit naughty. It’s only $5 and runs every Saturday through April 29th.

The Joys Of Improv I

Friday, December 2nd, 2005

Just to prove that you truly never know what is going to happen in improv, I offer this:

Tonight, Monkey’s Uncle did a private show for a group of wonderful elementary school teachers. During a game of Party Quirks I found myself, or rather my character found himself, sautéing boogers with peanut butter & bananas tempura-style for an Elvis impersonator.

Just go with the flow. If you think in improv, you’re dead. It’s true.
