What amazes me is while I know this movie will be awesome EVERYONE seems simply blown away by it which is incredibly rare. Usually the massive hype of any blockbuster kills the wow factor a bit.
Being a waiter of a restaurant next to an IMAX theater I’m hearing nothing but wow and OMG and holy crap. Soon as the damn place has some tix avail I’m going.

It was a little long, and the plot was very complex - but Keith Ledger’s twisted Joker was the star of the show. The scene with him walking out of the hospital in the little nurse’s skirt was worth the price of admission. I hope they do give him the Oscar for this, seeing as how he should have won for Brokeback Mountain.
Maggie Gyllenhaal was another bright spot, but I left the theater feeling disturbed. Is that the way a comic book movie is supposed to make you feel?
Whatever - this is the must see movie of summer 2008.

It was terrific! Matt was speechless, but he was also sick and couldn’t take your call to rave about it tonight.

It was incredible! Heath Ledger’s Joker was certainly worth all the hype.

I actually liked Batman Begins better. The Dark Knight meandered a bit, and seemed a little unfocused in the middle. Heath was fantastic, though, and the ending was powerful.
