This weekend — not that there are big plans — culminates into a get together at 11:00 PM Sunday night when a few of my friends and fellow fanatics of “The Venture Bros.” are getting together to watch the premiere of the third season. SQUEAL! If you are a fan, definitely check out their T-Shirt Of The Week Club for limited-edition, soon-to-be-hotly-desired, designer tees. Not seen the show? Here’s one of my favorite scenes:
File under truth is stranger: Here’s a frog with Wolverine-like qualities.
Toons ‘N Tunes posted this Muppet video put to Peaches’ “F*ck The Pain Away”. It’s hilarious and NSFW.
What better way to correct the behavior of a child than to post an embarrassing picture on the Internet.
And finally like many, I was saddened by the news of Harvey Korman’s passing yesterday. Several blogs have made tributes. The Projection Booth posted my favorite Korman scene in Blazing Saddles. Angry Seafood posted several clips including this one which is my favorite from History Of The World, Part 1. In homage, here are the two parts of “Went With The Wind”, the Gone With The Wind spoof from “The Carol Burnett Show”. Safe journey, Harvey.

Thanks for the mention :)
The tribute was personal for me because Harvey Korman was one of the people who shaped my humor style. It is sad that he died but the one bright spot was the laughs I got from picking the vids for the tribute. He truly was the everyman’s comic, the guy who was in on the joke but couldn’t help showing how funny he thought it was at the same time with his reactions.
