An iPhone Stole My Soul
Wednesday, July 25th, 2007 at 2:57 pmRick and Alf — formerly of Oddville fame — decided to come to the Monkey’s Uncle show last Monday night merely so Rick could show off his new iPhone. I just received an email which included first-hand proof that my soul has been officially stolen by Apple’s new technical wonder:

Don’t try to turn your computer screen to the side to see it in portrait view. That only works with the iPhone.
Listening to: “Spinning” - Christopher Cross

You weren’t using it anyway, were you?

We all know that you lost that a long time ago; some dispute whether you ever had one :P

Alf? Would that be the furry alien from the sitcom fame? I here he’s making a comeback.

My reply to all four of you:
Waaa-waaa-waaaaaaah.

I love me some Christopher Cross. Mmmm-hmmmm.

IMHO, his best lyrics, ever:
“Accused and tried and told to hang
I was nowhere in sight when the churchbells rang
Never was the kind to do as I was told
Gonna ride like the wind before I get old”

And yet there really isn’t anything that truly sets him apart from the adult contemporary stuff out there. Ironic, don’t you think?

Two very random things:
1. I love this picture of you. I hit ‘right click, save as’. ‘Cause I can.
2. Christopher Cross. I worked with his first cousin once. Nothing else to add.
Carry on.

I also love this picture of you. And not just sayin’ it cause HDW said it. It’s very ‘in the moment’. Plus you look hott!

HDW:
1. Yeah, it turned out damn funny.
2. I LOVE Christopher Cross.
Kath:

You could certainly run a caption contest for this one… :-)

I thought about it, but with some many people doing caption contests — meh. Who needs words. That picture speaks volumes!
