The weekly collection of interesting reads from around the blogosphere.

With my mom visiting, I haven’t been paying attention to my blogroll as I should, but here is what I did notice.
I had a guinea pig when I was a teenager so I found this incredibly cute and funny.
Scott found this hilarious set-up of American Idol and George H. Bush.
Kevin laments about online dating in a piece of fantastic and humorous writing.
Dogs getting married, but gays still can’t? Hayes has a great rant about it. While I personally dislike the institution of marriage for myself, I still think it should be made available to everyone.
And finally, Craig had another one of his hilarious compare and contrast picture blogs. This time it’s a guide to robots. You know you should totally listen to my robot music mix while reading it.
Hahaha! I put “robot mix” into Google and my site came up first. Also, the current mix that is available is like version 5. I keep tweaking the damn thing.

Kevin:
You write good when you are a-suffering.
Craig:
Now you need to that building in NY, twirl around and throw your hat in the hair. Oh, wait. You’re probably too young to remember that, too.

You do know that Guinea pig is eaten quite frequently in Peru right? Clint even went to a Guinea pig farm, picked out his lunch, and ate it. True story. They don’t even bother “disguising” the meat..they just pretty much skin it, cook it, and put it on your plate complete with its final look of grotesque horror. Very disturbing actually. Needless to say, Matt and I didn’t partake.

Mmmm. I’d heard that actually, but had blocked it until now. Thanks! (Poor, Speedy)
