How many of your remember Crystal Waters? She had that huge hit “Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)”. You know, “La da DEE/La do dow”. I love her voice and the rest of her first album — Surprise — is pretty damn good. Her second big hit was just as great and I loved it with “100% Pure Love”. [insert groan here]

She’s only had three original albums released — the last one being in 1997. In 2003, she hooked up with a DJ/Producer who goes by The Scumfrog and released a single under the name Dutch. Crystal co-wrote the song with him and had a huge #1 dance song in the U.S. and a Top 40 hit in the U.K. I found this song by accident looking for another and instantly adored it; and, even though it was released in 2003, the video looks like it was released in the late 80’s. Crystal still looks great.

I want a shirt that says, “Feeling Fine”. In fact, I’m inspired to start a line of t-shirts now that have answers to the question “How are you?” now: “I Am Not Unwell”, “Living The Dream”, “Doing Good” or “Meh”, for example.
