Of Montreal is one of those strangely compelling bands that make catchy music — much like The Flaming Lips only Of Montreal seem a bit more fun. The video below is the latest single from their new album, Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? It’s silly, fun and will having you singing, “C’mon Chemic-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-als!” for the next hour.

I’ve been sick all week and so didn’t read much. There was one point Bloglines had 400+ posts for me so marked them all read and crawled back to the couch and promptly feel asleep.

For the sixth weekend in a row, the snow faeries are going to bless the Rocky Mountains with their magical white stuff. Joy! I think I will celebrate by finding the Snow Faerie Queen and slowly, meticulously pulling her wings out of her back and then satisfactorily squishing her head between my thumb and a hard piece of slate.
