See A Dog Open Her Presents!
Saturday, December 30th, 2006 at 6:00 pmThe video below is one I shot Christmas morning just to prove to friends that I wasn’t lying. For years, Sydney has astounded everyone by opening her wrapped presents. This skill was not taught.
Roo — the younger of the housemates’ dogs — still hasn’t picked up on opening her presents, but this year she started to do something else. She would grab a present from the bag on the floor and give it to Sydney to open. It made for another fun Christmas morning.

That is cute overload! I like stopping by your house just so I can occasionally get my cute dog fix, since I can’t have one at my place. My old dog Makala, aka Puffin, was a half golden/collie mix who was very, very smart. But even she never figured out how to open presents.

That video is great! I shot a couple of our little girl this Christmas but Sydney is far more talented!
