Roundup - Week Of Dec 2
Saturday, December 9th, 2006 at 6:00 am
The weekly collection of interesting reads from around the blogosphere.
Let’s start off funny! Watch this video over at fastlad’s site and learn how to avoid alien take-over.
Kath at A Likely Story had two great posts. A funny quiz and this moving story of her divorce.
2006 Weblog Award Finalist keeps her streak of great post going with this funny story about her contractor and — if you read one post on this list — this one telling the story of her father passing away. I’ll warn you it’s a powerfully written story and you will need a hanky. Additional note, the title of the second post comes from the great Weepies album.
Fellow Weblog Award Finalist Andy wrote a great article on why you shouldn’t blog if you have no inner blogger.
The Hermit had some great Dog Thoughts.
And finally (yeah, sorry this is so short this week — it’s been a bit busy), I have to leave you with this oh-so-cute picture from Cute Overload post entitled "Chub" — one of the many rules of cuteness.

Howard: Look at you go, winning all sorts of awards!! Will I need to roll out the read carpet for you and Cameron tonight? Just give me the head’s up. I keep that stuff locked up for royalty and all. :)

Congrats on the award Howard, well done to you. I showed Linzi the paw and I thought she was going to cry with the cuteness levels. Gag.

HDW: No need to roll out the carpet, but the party was fun and it was nice to be away from life for a couple of hours
Kav: LOL! So I’ve won over the wife. Excellent. Of course, I don’t know what to do with that now…
