New Levels Of Geekdom

Thursday, September 28th, 2006 at 1:55 pm

This is what was in my mail pile when I got home. Do not read if you can’t handle the geek.

  • From Netflix: Naruto, Vol. 2 — Anime series on Cartoon Network of which I missed a few episodes even though I’ve read all the manga (graphic novels) now. [snort]
  • From Gamefly: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team — which I sent back this morning. It’s an RPG and find those to be a bit boring. BTW, there are still spaces open on my quest to refer 5 friends to Gamefly to get a DS Lite. The first five people who sign up will be put in a drawing to get my current DS, which is only a few months old. Sign up here! (Yeah, I’m a whore.)
  • From Shonen Jump: My first Shonen Jump magazine. It’s 344 pages of manga. Well, 100 pages of ads, 244 pages of Manga give or take a few pages. So now I know what happens in Naruto, but am missing about 4 or 5 issues from the books to the mag and don’ t know what happened. Arrgh! [pushing glasses back up my nose]

So there you go. The biggest pile of geek the postal service has ever delivered unto me. Huzzah!

Soon, I’ll be bathing every other day and only going out when it’s dark. I already live in a basement apartment thankfully it’s not with my parents.

That’s a huge dose of geekery. Have you come out in spots yet? x

Oh that last line is awesome. I giggled.

Speaking of geekiness, you should check out this comic, especially today: http://www.questionablecontent.net/

Though you may already have seen it. I find it hilarious and cute. Kinda like you (most days). :)

  5. Howard Says:

LOL! That is great! And only video game players would get it.
